Most pick-ups force a trade-off — tow at maximum weight or carry a full payload, but not both. The Musso Rhino refuses that compromise. With a class-leading gross train weight of 6,750kg — rising to 6,900kg in the Rhino+ — it can haul 3.5 tonnes on the tow bar and still carry a full payload in the bed, simultaneously. No other pick-up on UK roads matches that total load capacity.

The KGM-engineered 2.2-litre e-XDi 220 turbo diesel delivers 202PS and 400Nm of torque from just 1,400rpm, so it pulls hard from low revs — exactly what you need when you’re loaded up or hitched to 3.5 tonnes. It meets Euro VI emissions standards without losing any of the grunt, and paired with a 6-speed Aisin automatic transmission it’s as composed on the motorway as it is on the worksite.

MUD & GUTS
Primarily a pick-up, the Musso Rhino is also a pure off-roader by breed. It shares its chassis and drivetrain with KGM’s sophisticated SUV range, so noise, vibration and harshness are kept to levels you’d expect from a premium saloon. Selectable four-wheel drive with low ratio, hill start assist and hill descent control mean there’s nowhere it won’t go.

DESIGNED AROUND A EURO PALLET
The Rhino’s load deck is one of the deepest on the market — 570mm deep, 1,570mm wide and 1,300mm long (1,610mm in the Rhino+). That’s 1,011 litres of usable cargo space, rising to 1,262 litres in the long-wheelbase Rhino+, and every derivative in the line-up has been designed to carry a Euro pallet. Eight rotating strap-down tie hooks are fitted as standard, keeping loads locked in place whatever the terrain, and a tough moulded load liner is included as standard to protect the deck on every job.

MUSCLE INTELLIGENCE
Musso Rhino is comprehensively equipped and includes standard features you would expect to find as extras on a luxury passenger car. Twin 12.3” screens — a full digital instrument cluster and an infotainment touchscreen with wireless smartphone mirroring — sit alongside dual-zone automatic climate control and a 360-degree 3D surround view camera. You might be in a work vehicle, but there is no need to compromise on comfort and equipment; Musso Rhino certainly doesn’t.
